- Turkey - 4 pieces
- Swiss Cheese - 2.5 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 23 fl oz
- Chicken Egg - 2 pieces
- Wheat Flour - 2.5 oz
- Breadcrumbs - 5.3 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Corn Salad - to taste
- Tomatoes - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
Pound each steak while covering them with plastic wrap. The goal is to make them thin, but be careful not to create holes in the fillet.
Step 3
Place thin slices of ham and cheese on the pounded turkey breast, leaving a 2 cm border from the edges.
Step 4
Roll the meat into a roulade and tuck in the edges. Repeat with all the steaks.
Step 5
Tightly wrap each preparation in plastic wrap and place in the freezer for one hour.
Step 6
Heat the frying oil in a large skillet.
Step 7
While the oil is heating, prepare three separate bowls. In one, place the flour and add salt and pepper; in the second, put the breadcrumbs; and in the third, lightly beat the eggs with a whisk or fork.
Step 8
Remove the film from the cordon bleu preparation, coat it in flour, then dip it in eggs and thoroughly coat it in breadcrumbs.
Step 9
Place the rolls in the skillet. They should be at least half submerged in hot oil. Fry on both sides until golden brown and crispy.
Step 10
Pat the cooked cordon bleu with a paper towel to remove any excess oil.
Step 11
Serve with a light salad of fresh vegetables or another favorite side dish.
