Description
The sauce turns out thick and slightly sweet. It pairs perfectly with rice. You can substitute flour with cornstarch.
Ingredients
- Chicken fillet - 28.2 oz
- Onion - 1 piece
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Tomatoes - 1 piece
- Orange Bell Peppers - ¼ pieces
- Red Long Chili Peppers - to taste
- Vinegar essence - 1 tablespoon
- Soy Sauce - 3 spoons
- Yakiniku sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - ¼ spoons
- Ketchup - 1 tablespoon
- Sugar - 2 spoons
- Wheat Flour - 1 tablespoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the turkey fillet into medium-sized pieces. Sauté in a small amount of vegetable oil over high heat until golden brown.
Step 2
Reduce the heat and add the finely chopped vegetables in the following order, with a 5-minute interval between each: onion, carrot, bell pepper, tomato. Season with pepper.
Step 3
Simmer covered, while preparing the sauce: combine all the liquid ingredients (vinegar, soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, ketchup), add salt and sugar, mix well, and gradually sprinkle in the flour while stirring to avoid lumps.
Step 4
Pour the mixture into the skillet with the turkey and simmer until the sauce thickens.
