- Pearl barley - 10.6 oz
- Beef - 17.6 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 2 fl oz
- Cayenne Pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide

Prepare all the ingredients.

Rinse and dry the pearl barley.
Step 3
Cut the beef into large cubes.
Step 4
Place the beef and pearl barley into the pressure cooker.
Step 5
Add 2 liters of water and cook for 45 minutes.
Step 6
Drain the broth, reserving 2 cups.
Step 7
Transfer the porridge to a saucepan, pour in the broth, and cook over medium heat until the porridge is fully cooked and soft.

Season with salt and pepper.

In a separate saucepan, combine vegetable oil and red ground pepper and heat for 2 minutes.
