Ingredients
- Udon Noodles - 7.1 oz
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Chicken fillet - 8.8 oz
- Red Long Chili Peppers - ½ pieces
- Onion - 1 piece
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Green onion tops - 2 pieces
- Soy Sauce - 1½ spoons
- Grated Ginger Root - ½ spoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel and wash the vegetables. Cut the carrots into strips about 2-3 mm thick and 3-5 cm long. Dice the bell pepper finely, and cut the chicken into 1 cm cubes. Chop the peeled onion and crush the garlic.
Step 2
In a large pot with heated vegetable oil, add the onion and garlic, and sauté, stirring, until golden brown. Then add the remaining vegetables, chopped green onions, and chicken, and continue to sauté, stirring, until the meat starts to brown. After that, add the soy sauce and ginger, mix well, pour in 3/4 cup of water, cover with a lid, and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender and the sauce thickens. Finally, add salt to taste.
Step 3
Add the noodles to the boiling salted water and cook for 2-3 minutes. Drain in a colander, rinse, and let them drain well. Then, transfer the noodles to a pot with the vegetables and meat, mix well, and simmer on low heat for another 3-4 minutes. Serve immediately.
