Description
An unusual Olivier salad featuring Grandos turkey sausage.
Ingredients
- Homemade Chicken Sausage - 14.1 oz
- Potato - 15.9 oz
- Carrot - 10.6 oz
- Chicken Egg - 4 pieces
- Frozen green bean pods - 7.1 oz
- Cucumbers - 10.6 oz
- Sour Cream - 3.5 oz
- Mayonnaise - 3.5 oz
- Scallions - 0.5 oz
- Parsley - 0.5 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 10
Slice the green onions into rings and chop the parsley.
Step 11
In a large bowl, combine all the prepared ingredients. The salad without dressing can be stored in the refrigerator and will keep for up to 3 days.
Step 12
Mix the sour cream and mayonnaise, and season with salt and black pepper. Dress the salad with the sauce just before serving.
Step 2
Place the eggs in boiling water and cook for 12 minutes. Then, pour cold water over them to stop the cooking process.
Step 3
Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
Step 4
Peel the potatoes and carrots, then cut them into cubes about 7 mm on each side.
Step 5
Add the potatoes to boiling water and cook for 2 minutes.
Step 6
Add the carrot to the pot with the potatoes and cook for another 4 minutes.
Step 7
Add the frozen peas to the vegetables and cook for another minute. Drain the vegetables in a colander and let them sit so that all the water drains off and the vegetables cool down.
Step 8
Cut the sausage and pickles into cubes the same size as the boiled vegetables.
Step 9
Peel the cooled eggs and chop them into cubes using a knife or an egg slicer.
