Veal Cutlets with Bacon
Ingredients
- Veal Cutlets - 17.6 oz
- Wheat Flour - 4 tablespoons
- Butter - 1.1 oz
- Onion - 2 heads
- Vegetable Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Bacon - 4 pieces
- Chicken Broth - 12 fl oz
- Worcestershire Sauce - 1 teaspoon
- Chopped Sage Leaves - 2 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the meat into thin slices. Lightly coat in flour and shake off the excess.
Step 2
Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet. Add the finely chopped onion and sauté for 2 minutes over medium heat until soft. Transfer the onion to a plate.
Step 3
Place the bacon in the skillet and fry over medium heat until crispy, about 2 minutes. Transfer to a plate.
Step 4
Add the meat to the skillet and fry over medium heat for about 2 minutes until golden brown. Return the onion to the skillet.
Step 5
Mix the Worcestershire sauce, chicken broth, and 2 tablespoons of flour. Pour into the skillet with the meat and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 3 minutes until the meat is tender and the sauce thickens. Add the bacon and heat through. Serve immediately, garnished with parsley.
