Veal Liver Shashlik
Ingredients
- Veal Liver - 15.9 oz
- Onion - 4.4 oz
- Wasabi - 1 teaspoon
- Butter - 0.5 oz
- Mixed Ground Peppers - ½ teaspoon
- Rosemary - 1 sprig
- Thyme - 1 sprig
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Chop the onion coarsely.
Step 2
Melt the butter in the microwave and add the wasabi.
Step 3
Season with the mixed peppers.
Step 4
Add salt and mix well.
Step 5
Soak the skewers in ice water for a few minutes.
Step 6
Cut the liver into small strips.
Step 7
Combine the onion with the liver and mix with the marinade.
Step 8
Thread the liver onto the skewers, alternating with pieces of onion. Place them on a baking dish so that the shashlik does not touch the bottom. Top with sprigs of rosemary and thyme.
Step 9
Send the skewers to a preheated oven at 356°F.
Step 10
After 10 minutes, turn them over.
Step 11
After another 10 minutes, turn off the oven, transfer the dish to a plate, and serve.
