Ingredients
- Veal - 17.6 oz
- Red Grape Juice - 8 fl oz
- Apple - 5 pieces
- Water - 2 fl oz
- Wheat Flour - 1½ tablespoons
- Vegetable Oil - 3 tablespoons
- Cinnamon - ½ teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Lightly salt the meat and make approximately 30 holes with the tip of a knife.
Step 2
Wash each apple, peel, core, and cut into 6 wedges. Insert one wedge into each hole.
Step 3
Place the meat in a heavy-bottomed pot, drizzle with melted oil, and sprinkle with spices. Put it in the oven for 10–15 minutes until a golden crust forms. Drizzle the contents with oil, sprinkle with flour, cover with a lid, and return to the oven for 3–4 minutes. When the meat becomes tender, add the wine and water, and keep in the oven for another 3–4 minutes.
Step 4
Before serving, drizzle with the resulting sauce.
