Ingredients
- Bavette Pasta - 9.9 oz
- Seitan - 7.1 oz
- Olive Oil - 1 fl oz
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Wheat Flour - 1.1 oz
- Plant-based Cream - 17 fl oz
- Cheese yeast - 0.7 oz
- Parsley - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
Finely chop the garlic.
Step 3
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook for 2 minutes less than the time indicated on the package.
Step 4
In a large skillet, heat olive oil and sauté the garlic for 30 seconds.
Step 5
Sprinkle the flour over the garlic and quickly stir.
Step 6
Gradually pour in the plant-based milk, whisking the sauce continuously. Cook until it reaches the consistency of liquid sour cream.
Step 7
Add the seitan and stir.
Step 8
Add salt, pepper, and nutritional yeast to the sauce, and mix well. If necessary, add a little pasta cooking water.
Step 9
Drain the cooked pasta and add it to the skillet with the sauce. Toss to combine.
Step 10
Serve the Alfredo pasta garnished with chopped parsley.
