- Long-Grain Rice - 7.1 oz
- Tomatoes - 4 pieces
- Onion - 2 heads
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Leek - 1 stalk
- Chicken Broth - 1 qt
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 1 teaspoon
- Vegetable Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Parsley - 1.8 oz
- Paprika - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Rinse the rice thoroughly in cold running water, then drain in a colander and let it dry.
Step 2
Add the prepared rice to boiling salted water and cook until done, making sure the grains do not overcook.
Step 3
Drain the cooked rice in a colander and let it cool.
Step 4
Peel, wash, and chop the onion and garlic.
Step 5
Wash the leek and slice it into thin rings.
Step 6
Wash the tomatoes, cut them in half, and remove the seeds.
Step 7
Heat the oil in a deep skillet, sauté the onion and garlic, then add the leek and tomato paste, pour in the vegetable broth, then add the tomatoes and rice, season with salt and sprinkle with ground paprika.
Step 8
Cook the porridge on low heat with the lid on.

Transfer the finished porridge to a deep dish and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
