Vegan Fried Rice
Ingredients
- Basmati rice - 10 oz
- Oyster Mushrooms - 5 oz
- Orange Bell Peppers - 1 piece
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Spanish onions - 1 head
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Ginger - 0 oz
- Mild Chili Spice - 1 piece
- Soy Sauce - 0 fl oz
- Scallions - to taste
- Sesame Oil - 0 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
Cook the rice according to the package instructions.
Step 3
Finely chop the chili pepper, ginger, and garlic.
Step 4
Slice the onion and bell pepper into strips, and grate the carrot using a Korean grater.
Step 5
Tear the oyster mushrooms by hand.
Step 6
Heat the sesame oil and quickly stir-fry the carrot over high heat.
Step 7
Next, add the onion, garlic, ginger, and chili pepper and stir-fry for 1 minute. Pour in the soy sauce.
Step 8
Add the oyster mushrooms and bell pepper to the pan. Stir-fry for another 1 minute.
Step 9
Add the rice and stir-fry, mixing well, for 3–4 minutes. Taste and add salt if necessary.
Step 10
Serve the fried rice garnished with rings of green onion.
