Description
If I don't have persimmon, I often use mango or kiwi instead. In general, you can just make a vegetable salad without any fruits.
Ingredients
- Corn Salad - 3.5 oz
- Iceberg Lettuce - ½ piece
- Orange Bell Peppers - 1 piece
- Tomatoes - 10.6 oz
- Persimmon - 2 pieces
- Olive Oil - to taste
- Soy Sauce - to taste
- Pomegranate Seeds - to taste
- Cucumbers - 10.6 oz
- "Vegetta seasoning" - to taste
- Meyer Lemon Juice - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Chop all the ingredients and tear the lettuce. It's great if the tomatoes are of different colors (black, red, green, yellow) — it looks beautiful and each variety of tomato has a different taste.
Step 2
Add pomegranate seeds to the salad — they will add a bit of tartness. If you don't have pomegranate, you can squeeze a little lemon juice. Just don't add too much, just a hint.
Step 3
Dress the salad first with olive oil, then with soy sauce, and sprinkle with Vegetta (be careful with this as Vegetta is practically salt). Do not add more salt or pepper.
