Description
Use olive oil labeled 'pomace' for cooking, not 'virgin' or 'extra virgin'.
Ingredients
- Cauliflower - 17.6 oz
- Broccoli - 10.6 oz
- Olive Oil - 3 tablespoons
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Lemon - ½ piece
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Break the broccoli and cauliflower into small florets (3–4 cm). Peel the broccoli stem and chop it into thin pieces.
Step 2
Slice the garlic into petals and the lemon into thin rounds.
Step 3
Place everything in a deep bowl, add olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and mix.
Step 4
Lay the vegetables on a sheet of foil, leaving 3 cm from the edges. Cover with another sheet and seal them together.
Step 5
Place the resulting packet in a preheated oven (high heat or 356°F). Bake for no longer than 25 minutes.
Step 6
It is advisable to check the vegetables from time to time to avoid overcooking. They should become tender and slightly browned.
Step 7
Open the foil carefully to avoid being burned by the hot steam that has built up inside.
