Description
Any hard cheese will work. I recommend a lactose-free cheese with 17% fat. For those who are lactose intolerant: you can easily skip the sour cream in this recipe. These patties are great to make in advance and freeze, especially if the mixture is not too sticky and falls apart during cooking.
Ingredients
- Potato - 1 piece
- Soy Meat - 1.8 oz
- Onion - 1 piece
- Cheese Spread - 3.5 oz
- Egg white - 1 piece
- Sour Cream - 5 tablespoons
- Breadcrumbs - 1.1 oz
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Ground Black Pepper - 1 teaspoon
- Dried Dill Stems - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Wheat Flour - 5 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Boil the soy mince. Rinse. Squeeze out the water.
Step 2
Grate the raw potato on a fine grater. Scald it and hold it in boiling water for about 5 minutes. Grate the cheese on a fine grater. In a blender, puree the onion and garlic.
Step 3
Knead the dough from the egg, vegetables, mince, and dried herbs. Add spices. For thickness, add flour as needed, but no more than 5 tablespoons.
Step 4
Form the patties. Roll in breadcrumbs. Fry in oil or bake in the microwave with a small amount of water.
