Ingredients
- Lentils - 1.8 oz
- Snap Peas - 2.8 oz
- Lentils - 1.8 oz
- Fennel - 2.8 oz
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Celery stalk - 1 piece
- Leek - 1 piece
- Orange Bell Peppers - ½ piece
- Chicken Broth - 15 fl oz
- Butter - 1.4 oz
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Cayenne Pepper - ½ teaspoon
- Ground Nutmeg - 1 teaspoon
- Chopped Sage Leaves - 2 tablespoons
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Bring the broth to a boil, add the peas and lentils, and cook covered on low heat for 35–40 minutes. Preheat the oven to 374°F.
Step 2
In a skillet, melt the butter and sauté the vegetables and garlic for 10 minutes. Add the peas, lentils, cayenne pepper, nutmeg shell, egg, and parsley. Mix well, season with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan, cover with foil, and bake for 40 minutes. Cool for 15–20 minutes and remove the loaf from the pan.
