Ingredients
- Mixed tomatoes of different colors - 2 lbs
- Onion - 17.6 oz
- Carrot - 17.6 oz
- Sugar - 3.5 oz
- Vinegar essence - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable Oil - 3 fl oz
- Salt - 1 tablespoon
- Green peppercorns - 5 pieces
- Bay leaf - 1 piece

Step 1
Slice the tomatoes into wedges. Grate the carrot on a coarse grater. Cut the onion into half-rings. Mix everything in an enameled pot, add salt, and let it sit for 4 hours. The salad mixture should release liquid, which needs to be drained to remove the excess bitterness of the green tomatoes.
Step 2
In another pot, prepare the dressing for the salad. To do this, mix the oil and sugar, add vinegar, pepper, bay leaf, and bring to a boil.
Step 3
Pour the dressing over the salad mixture and simmer for 15 minutes after boiling on low heat.
