Ingredients
- Long-Grain Rice - 5.3 oz
- Canned Mackerel in Oil - 1 can
- Sweet Pepper - ½ piece
- Tomatoes - 2 pieces
- Olives stuffed with lemon - 3.5 oz
- Capers - 1 tablespoon
- Chicken Seasoning - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cook the rice until al dente in water in a 1:2 ratio. Do not overcook; the rice should remain fluffy.
Step 2
Let it cool slightly.
Step 3
Transfer the tuna along with the oil from the can onto a plate and mash well with a fork.
Step 4
Remove the seeds and membranes from the pepper, then chop finely.
Step 5
Cut the washed tomatoes into wedges.
Step 6
In a pot with warm cooked rice, add the tuna, chopped pepper, and tomatoes.
Step 7
Pour in the brine from the olives and capers, and mix thoroughly.
Step 8
If necessary, season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 9
Serve the salad warm or cold, depending on preference.
