Ingredients
- Fresh Mushrooms - 2 lbs
- Water - 6 cups
- Olive Oil - ½ cup
- Champagne Vinegar - 2 cups
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Mild Chili Spice - ¼ piece
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Chopped Sage Leaves - 1 tablespoon
- Chopped Green Onions - 1 tablespoon
- Lemon - 1 piece
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Rinse the mushrooms well and clean them. Slice thinly.
Step 2
In a pot, combine water, 3 tablespoons of salt, and vinegar, bring to a boil, and add the mushrooms. Cook for 10 minutes, then drain and cool.
Step 3
In a skillet, heat the olive oil and sauté the sliced garlic and finely chopped chili until soft. Add the mushrooms and cook until heated through. Season with salt and pepper to taste, add the herbs, drizzle with lemon juice, and serve immediately.
