Warm Spinach Salad with Garlic Croutons
Ingredients
- Olive Oil - 4 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Rye Bread - 7.1 oz
- Spinach - 10.6 oz
- Chocolate eggs - 4 pieces
- Cream - 3 fl oz
- Parmesan Cheese - 1.8 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Spanish onions - ½ head
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Boil the eggs hard and cut them into wedges. Slice the onion into rings.
Step 2
Wash the spinach, chop it, and sauté it in vegetable oil. If you are using young spinach, wash it and briefly dip it in boiling water using a slotted spoon. Cool and dry the leaves.
Step 3
To make the sauce, heat the heavy cream but do not bring it to a boil. Add grated Parmesan cheese. Pour into a sauceboat and serve separately.
Step 4
Combine the eggs, onion, and spinach. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 5
Serve with garlic croutons. To make them, sauté the bread in vegetable oil, rub with garlic, and cut into cubes.
