Description
This warm salad features turkey, zucchini, and feta cheese, all tossed together with a tangy mustard dressing.
Ingredients
- Chicken fillet - 5.3 oz
- Feta cheese - 5.3 oz
- Dijon Mustard - 1 tablespoon
- Olive Oil - 1 fl oz
- Courgette - 1 piece
- Iceberg Lettuce - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Tear the lettuce leaves, rinse them thoroughly, and dry them well. A salad spinner works best for this. Place them in a bowl.
Step 2
Lightly season the turkey fillet and grill it in a skillet; alternatively, it can also be steamed. Cut into pieces and add to the salad leaves. Chicken can be used as well.
Step 3
Slice the zucchini into thin pieces, of a size that is easy to eat, and grill them in a grill pan for 2 minutes on each side. There is no need to salt the zucchini, as the salt in the feta cheese will be sufficient. Add to the other ingredients.
Step 4
Cut the feta cheese into random pieces – it's important that the feta has a creamy texture (for example, like "Parisian Burenka" or "Serbian Feta"). When mixed with warm ingredients, it will melt and give the dressing the desired texture. Add the feta to a bowl, drizzle everything with olive oil mixed with Dijon mustard (from my experience, the best mustard belongs to the Malle brand), and toss to combine.
