Ingredients
- Cracked Wheat - 1 cup
- Lamb - 7.1 oz
- Clarified Butter - 1.4 oz
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 1.4 oz
- Carrot - 3.5 oz
- Adjika - 0.2 oz
- Onion - 1.8 oz
- Scallions - 1 bunch
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Pour 400 ml of boiling water over the cracked wheat, add salt, and cook, stirring, for 15–20 minutes.
Step 2
When the porridge thickens, cover the pot with a lid and cook on very low heat until done.
Step 3
Wash and finely chop the green onion.
Step 4
Peel, wash, and slice the onion into rings.
Step 5
Wash, peel, and grate the carrot on a coarse grater.
Step 6
Rinse the meat, cut it into small pieces, season with salt and pepper, place it in the pot, and fry in clarified butter until golden brown.
Step 7
Then add the onion, carrot, pour in a little water, add the tomato paste, adjika, and simmer for 20 minutes on low heat.
Step 8
Pour 0.5 liters of water into the pot and cook until done.
Step 9
Serve the wheat porridge on plates, top with pieces of lamb and stewed vegetables, and drizzle with the sauce formed during the meat stewing.
