Ingredients
- Salt - ½ teaspoon
- Chicken fillet - 21.2 oz
- Butter - 0.5 oz
- Ground Black Pepper - a pinch
- Puff Pastry - 15 pieces
- Turmeric - ½ teaspoon
- Cayenne Pepper - ½ teaspoon
- English Dry Mustard - 1 teaspoon
- White Pepper (whole) - ½ teaspoon
- Cream 22% - 10 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Place the chicken fillet on a large greased sheet of foil, lightly salt and pepper it, and seal it tightly. Bake in the oven at 356°F for 30 minutes. Allow to cool and remove from the 'envelope'.
Step 2
Lightly grease a small baking dish with low sides and place the meat in it. Bake the pastry triangles in the oven on the baking setting for 20-30 minutes (they are served separately with the dish).
Step 3
Mix the turmeric, cayenne pepper, mustard, salt, and pepper with the cream and lightly whisk. Heat the mixture over low heat until it comes to a boil, then remove from heat. Pour it over the meat. Simmer the meat on low heat for another 15-20 minutes.
