Description
Yakisoba
Ingredients
- Chicken fillet - 21.2 oz
- Udon Noodles - 12.3 oz
- Turnips - 3 pieces
- Napa Cabbage - 14.1 oz
- Soy Sauce - 4 fl oz
- Onion - 1 piece
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Chili jam - 2 tablespoons
- Vegetable Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame Oil - ½ teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
To prepare yakisoba at home: Cook the noodles for yakisoba in a separate pot until done or pour boiling water over them (according to the instructions on the package). Drain and let cool. Separate the chicken fillet from the bones and cut into small pieces.
Step 2
In a skillet, heat the vegetable and sesame oil, then add the chili paste. Peel the garlic, finely chop it, and add it to the skillet half a minute after the paste, stirring well.
Step 3
Add the chopped chicken meat and mix. Fry, stirring, for half a minute. Then pour in half of the soy sauce and mix again. Fry over medium-high heat for about 10 minutes, stirring.
Step 4
After cooking, transfer the contents of the skillet to a small pot and cover with a lid. In the same skillet, heat another tablespoon of vegetable oil (if necessary).
Step 5
Shred the napa cabbage, peel and finely chop the onion. Peel the carrots and cut them into strips or grate them on a coarse grater. Place all the chopped vegetables in the skillet with the heated oil.
Step 6
Fry the vegetables for 3-5 minutes, stirring, over medium-high heat. Then add the contents of the pot, the noodles, the remaining soy sauce, pepper to taste, and mix.
Step 7
Yakisoba cooks for another 2-3 minutes, during which it should be stirred occasionally. Serve the hot dish on plates and enjoy. Bon appétit!
