Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 2 cups
- Salt - ½ teaspoon
- Olive Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Dry yeast - 1 teaspoon
- Water - 8 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Dissolve the yeast in warm water.
Step 2
Sift the flour, add salt, and the water with yeast.
Step 3
Knead the dough, then add the olive oil.
Step 4
Let the dough rise.
Step 5
Roll out the dough to a thickness of 0.5 cm.
Step 6
Spread tomato paste (tomatoes, garlic, basil, salt, pepper) on the dough and any toppings (onion, pickles, tomatoes, pepperoni/salami/ham, sautéed mushrooms, olives).
Step 7
Bake in a preheated oven at maximum temperature (about 250–527°F) for approximately 8–10 minutes. Place the rack at the bottom. When the oven is heated, place the pizza on the rack.
Step 8
Three minutes before baking is complete, sprinkle cheese on the pizza. When the cheese is browned and a delicious crust forms on the bottom of the pizza, remove it from the oven.
