Ingredients
- New Potatoes - 31.7 oz
- Shallot - 6 pieces
- Chives - 4 tablespoons
- Salt - 2 teaspoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- English Dry Mustard - 2 teaspoons
- Red Wine Vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Olive Oil - 5 fl oz
- Balsamic Vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Steam the potatoes for 20 minutes.
Step 2
In a mortar, crush the garlic with salt, add the mustard powder and mix. Season with freshly ground black pepper and vinegar.
Step 3
Pour in the olive oil and whisk the mixture.
Step 4
Transfer the potatoes to a bowl and let cool for 10–15 minutes.
Step 5
Pour the dressing mixture over the potatoes, add the chopped chives and shallots.
Step 6
Serve the finished salad on a serving platter.
