Ingredients
- Lamb - 17.6 oz
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Whole egg - 1 piece
- Wheat Flour - 1.8 oz
- Butter - 1.1 oz
- Fermented Milk - 7 fl oz
- Vegetable Oil - 1 fl oz
- Ground Caraway - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Wash the meat, pass it through a meat grinder 2–3 times, add the egg, salt, and pepper, and mix well. Form small balls from the mixture and roll them in flour. Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil, fill it with the formed meatballs, cover with a lid, and place in a well-heated oven.
Step 2
Mix the sour milk or buttermilk with the yolk, add the butter, crushed caraway seeds, and pour over the meatballs at the end of baking. Then reduce the heat and continue baking in an uncovered dish.
Step 3
Serve with boiled potatoes.
