Description
Zeppelins with Bacon
Ingredients
- Salad Potatoes - 16 pieces
- Pork Mince - 8.8 oz
- Onion - 3 heads
- Starch film - 2 tablespoons
- Semi-Smoked Sausage - 5.3 oz
- Sour Cream - 2 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Boil 4 peeled potatoes in boiling water. Let cool.
Step 2
Peel the raw potatoes and grate them on a fine grater, squeeze through cheesecloth, add starch, salt, and mix with the boiled potatoes that have been passed through a meat grinder. Finely chop the onion, add spices, and mix with the minced meat.
Step 3
Shape the potato mixture into elongated cups, place the filling inside, and form them into zeppelins.
Step 4
Add the finely chopped onion and fry until golden brown. Add sour cream.
Step 5
Gently drop the zeppelins one by one into boiling salted water, making sure the water continues to boil. Cook for 20–25 minutes.
Step 6
For the sauce, cut the bacon into cubes and fry until melted. If desired, the finished zeppelins can be fried in vegetable oil. Before serving, drizzle the zeppelins with the sauce.
