Zrazy (Cutlets with Egg Filling)
Ingredients
- Veal Mince - 17.6 oz
- Leek - 7.1 oz
- Chicken Egg - 4 pieces
- White bread - 3.5 oz
- Milk - 7 fl oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Vegetable Oil - 0 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Finely chop the onion. Dice the boiled eggs. Sauté the onion in vegetable oil until golden brown. Combine the onion and eggs, and season with salt to taste.
Step 2
Soak the bread in milk. Mix the ground meat with the bread (squeeze the bread slightly), season with salt and pepper. Shape the mixture into a patty. Place the egg and onion filling in the center of each patty (if the meat is too dry, you can add a small piece of butter). Fold the filling and shape it into a cutlet.
Step 3
Place the patties on a greased baking sheet and put them in the oven.
Step 4
Bake at 356°F for 40–45 minutes.
Step 5
You can also fry the zrazy in a skillet with vegetable oil.
