Ingredients
- Courgette - 2 lbs
- Orange Bell Peppers - 1 piece
- Skin-On Chicken Breasts - 7.1 oz
- Spices - to taste
- Cheese Spread - 3.5 oz
- Tomatoes - 2 lbs
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel the zucchini, then slice it into thin long strips as if continuing to peel.
Step 2
Prepare the sauce: blend the tomatoes, bell pepper, and spices in a blender.
Step 3
Layer the baking dish with zucchini strips, spread with sauce, and add the filling (I prepared the chicken in a steamer and added it already cooked. If your filling is vegetables, chop them finely and add them) and then layer again with zucchini, sauce, filling, zucchini, and sauce.
Step 4
Top with grated cheese.
Step 5
Place in an oven preheated to 180–392°F (350–400 degrees Fahrenheit) and bake until a golden cheesy crust forms, about 20 minutes.

Serve directly in the dish or transfer to a plate.
