African Mackerel Soup

Ingredients

  • Mackerel - 17.6 oz
  • Onion - 2 heads
  • Spiced Tomato Juice - 10 fl oz
  • Salt - to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper - to taste
  • Lemon - ½ piece
  • Bay leaf - 1 piece
  • Herbs - 1 bunch

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Thoroughly rinse and clean the mackerel. Cover with cold water and bring to a boil. Skim off the foam, add the onion, bay leaf, lemon, and cook for 20 minutes.

Step 2

Cut the salmon fillet into small pieces and add to the soup.

Step 3

Pour the tomato juice into the fish soup. Bring to a boil.

Step 4

Sprinkle the finished soup with chopped herbs. Season with salt and pepper.
