Ingredients
- Spanish onions - 5.3 oz
- Salad Potatoes - 17.6 oz
- Chopped Green Onions - 1 tablespoon
- Coarse Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Lightly Salted Red Fish - 4.2 oz
- Egg white - 1 piece
- Sour Cream - 2½ tablespoons
- Olive Oil - to taste
- Dill - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel the onion and potatoes. Grate both on a coarse grater.
Step 2
Preheat the oven to 446°F.
Step 3
Slightly squeeze out the potatoes and onion. Transfer to a bowl and add dill and egg white. Season with salt and pepper, and mix well.
Step 4
Grease 2 baking sheets with olive oil.
Step 5
Taking 1 tablespoon of the potato mixture at a time, shape small pancakes and place them on the baking sheet. Bake in the oven until golden brown for about 10 minutes. Flip and return to the oven for another 7 minutes until browned on the other side.
Step 6
Place the pancakes on a serving dish. Top each with a piece of fish and garnish with sour cream. Decorate with sprigs of dill and serve.
