Description
Armenian Spas soup has saved many people from hangovers. It can be made more liquid, but we prefer it thick like porridge.
Ingredients
- Ground coriander - 1.1 oz
- Matsoni - 20 fl oz
- Durum wheat - 16.9 oz
- Butter - 0.7 oz
- Wheat Flour - 2.1 oz
- Onion - 2.1 oz
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Sour Cream - 4.2 oz
- Water - 12 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the necessary ingredients.
Step 2
Whisk the matzun.
Step 3
Add flour and an egg.
Step 4
Stir well, add water, and place on low heat. Keep stirring constantly with a wooden spoon or spatula. Do not allow it to reach a boil, or it will curdle.
Step 5
Slightly boil the dzavar separately, then add it to the matzun and cook until ready.
Step 6
Sauté the onion in butter until softened, then add it to the soup and stir.
Step 7
Chop the cilantro finely.
Step 8
Season with salt.
Step 9
Add finely chopped cilantro and sour cream. The more cilantro, the better.
Step 10
Serve.
