Ingredients
- Beef Kidneys - 14.1 oz
- Bun - 8 pieces
- Chicken Egg - 2 pieces
- Milk - 8 fl oz
- Butter - 1 tablespoon
- Onion - 1 piece
- Parsley - 1.1 oz
- Campbell's Beef Broth - 1 qt
- Marjoram - ½ spoons
- White Pepper (whole) - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the necessary ingredients
Step 2
Slice the rolls thinly.
Step 3
Place in a bowl, add a teaspoon of salt, and pour warm milk over them. Let it sit for about an hour.
Step 4
Finely chop the onion.
Step 5
Finely chop the parsley.
Step 6
Sauté the onion in butter for 4-5 minutes.
Step 7
Pass the liver through a meat grinder, mix it with the prepared bread, onion, parsley, add eggs, marjoram, and pepper, and mix thoroughly.
Step 8
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Form a small test dumpling from the meat mixture and drop it into the water. If it falls apart, add breadcrumbs to the meat mixture.
Step 9
Shape the minced meat into 6-8 equal dumplings and boil them for 20 minutes over low heat without a lid. Use a slotted spoon to remove the cooked dumplings and place them in a warm spot.
Step 10
Heat the broth and pour it into bowls. Add one dumpling to each bowl. Garnish with parsley.
