Ingredients
- Dried avellana - 14.1 oz
- Onion - 7.1 oz
- Walnuts - 5.3 oz
- Safflower Oil - 3 fl oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Unravel the dried avellana, rinse it in warm water, place it in a pot of salted water, and boil until fully cooked; then drain in a colander, let it cool, and chop finely.
Step 2
In a separate pan, sauté finely chopped onion in vegetable oil, then add the prepared aveluk, season with pepper, stir, and continue to fry for another 5-8 minutes.
Step 3
Soak the peeled walnuts in warm water, remove the skin, chop them finely, and add to the avelyuk. It can be served both cold and hot (if serving hot, it's better to use clarified butter).
