- Semi-Smoked Sausage - 6 pieces
- Onion - 12.7 oz
- Barbecue sauce - 1¼ cups
- Dark Ale - 2 fl oz
- Light Molasses - 2.8 oz
- Brown Sugar - 3 tablespoons
- Dijon Mustard - 3 tablespoons
- Worcestershire Sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Soy Sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Habanero Pepper - 6 teaspoons
- Chopped Sage Leaves - to taste
- Canned Baby Beets - 15.9 oz

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 356°F.
Step 2
Fry the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Transfer to a paper towel to drain.
Step 3
Pour 2.5 tablespoons of the bacon fat into a large bowl. Cut the bacon into small pieces and add it to the fat. Add the finely chopped onion, barbecue sauce, beer, molasses, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and crushed chipotle pepper. Mix well and add the beans. Transfer the mixture to a glass baking dish and place it in the oven, uncovered, for about 1 hour.

Cool for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
