Description
It is best to use young beetroots that are not too large.
Ingredients
- Beetroot - 2 pieces
- Goat cheese - 3.5 oz
- Olive Oil - 1 fl oz
- White Balsamic Cream - 1 fl oz
- Honey - 0.9 oz
- Shelled pumpkin seeds - 0.2 oz
- Lemon - 1.8 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Wash the beetroots, wrap each in foil, place in the oven at 392°F for 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on their size. Check for doneness with a skewer.
Step 2
Make the sauce: mix olive oil, juice of half a lemon, two teaspoons of honey, balsamic sauce, salt, and pepper thoroughly.
Step 3
Slice the beetroot thinly (the thinner, the better). Arrange beautifully on a plate, take the goat cheese and creatively scatter it over the beetroot.
Step 4
Drizzle everything with the sauce and garnish with pumpkin seeds.
