Description
Instead of Camembert cheese, you can use Brie cheese. Instead of a French baguette, you can use Italian ciabatta. You can also replace mayonnaise with softened butter, just like cherry tomatoes can be replaced with regular large tomatoes, but make sure they are sweet.
Ingredients
- Camembert cheese - 1 piece
- French Baguette - 1 piece
- Mayonnaise - 1.8 oz
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Salt - to taste
- Herbes de Provence - to taste
- Marinated cherries - 3.5 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Make cuts in the shape of a grid on the top of the cheese, about halfway deep. Place the cheese on parchment paper in the center of a baking tray.
Step 2
Slice the bread, and mix the mayonnaise (or softened butter) with the garlic. Spread the mixture on the bread, and top with sliced tomatoes.
Step 3
Arrange the sandwiches around the cheese. Sprinkle with salt and Herbes de Provence. Bake in the oven at 392°F for 10 minutes.
