Description
Camembert cheese should be eaten while warm, otherwise it will start to set. It’s very convenient to dip pieces of celery speared on a fork into it. This is undoubtedly a wonderful appetizer for white French wine, but a light rosé will also be quite fitting.
Ingredients
- Camembert cheese - 4.4 oz
- Herbs de Provence - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Celery - 5 stalks
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Place the Camembert on foil.
Step 2
Sprinkle the cheese with herbs, and add a little salt.
Step 3
Wrap the cheese in foil.
Step 4
Put it in a preheated oven at 356°F for 10–12 minutes.
Step 5
Cut the celery so that the stalks fit in the pan.
Step 6
Place the celery in a hot skillet greased with vegetable oil.
Step 7
Sprinkle with black pepper and salt, and sauté over high heat for about 5 minutes.
Step 8
When the stalks are browned, let them cool slightly. Cut into pieces about 2 cm long.
Step 9
Cut the baked cheese without touching the bottom of the dish.
