Description
You can use special sandwich bread for convenience. The bread can be wheat, multigrain, or whole grain. You can add some mushrooms or use them as a side dish. Pre-cooked fried onions can also be used. The sandwich can be grilled.
Ingredients
- Sourdough Bread - 2 pieces
- Barbecue sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Skin-On Chicken Breasts - 2.8 oz
- Bacon - 2 pieces
- Onion - to taste
- Olive Oil - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Cheshire Cheese - 1.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Rinse the chicken breast, slice it thinly, and season with salt. Slightly heat olive oil in a pan and fry the chicken for about 5 minutes on each side. Once cooked, transfer the pieces of meat to a paper towel to drain excess fat.
Step 2
In the pan, fry the bacon until crispy (about 5 minutes on each side). Place on paper towels.
Step 3
Slice the onion into rings. In the heated olive oil in the pan, sauté the onion until well-cooked.
Step 4
Spread BBQ sauce on both pieces of bread. Then evenly layer thinly sliced cheese, onion, bacon, and chicken on one of the pieces. Cover with the second piece.
Step 5
In a small amount of oil, fry the sandwich on both sides (about 5 minutes on medium heat), carefully flipping it with two spatulas.
Step 6
Serve hot.
