A wonderful combination of beans and tuna — the hearty, creamy texture of the legumes paired with the bright notes of tuna. This pâté also features a Georgian twist with the addition of walnuts, onions, and cilantro.
Ingredients
- Red Canned Beans - 14.1 oz
- Canned tuna in its own juice - 6.5 oz
- Walnuts - 1.4 oz
- Sweet Red Onion - 2.5 oz
- Cilantro - 0.7 oz
- Meyer Lemon Juice - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Beans - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
Chop the red onion coarsely.
Step 3
Drain the liquid from the beans and add them to the blender bowl.
Step 4
Add the onion there as well.
Step 5
Drain the liquid from the can of tuna and place the fish in the blender.
Step 6
Chop the cilantro coarsely and add it to the other ingredients.
Step 7
Add the walnuts.
Step 8
Blend everything together in a blender until smooth.
Step 9
Taste and add salt, pepper, and lemon juice to your liking, then mix well.

Serve the bean pâté with delicious bread.
