Description
If you don't like ciabatta, you can choose any other type of bread. The healthier it is, the better.
Ingredients
- Lean Beef - 17.6 oz
- Feta cheese - 7.1 oz
- Courgette - 1 piece
- Natural Yogurt - 6 fl oz
- Marjoram - ½ teaspoon
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Meyer Lemon Juice - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Ciabatta - 1 piece
- Courgette - 3.5 oz
- Onion - 1.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Grate part of the cucumber on a coarse grater or chop it with a knife (about 0.5 cup) and add it to the yogurt. Also add finely chopped garlic and lemon juice, and mix everything well until it forms a smooth paste.
Step 2
Grind the beef into minced meat and mix it in a bowl with the chopped zucchini, onion, feta, salt, marjoram, and pepper. Mix everything well again and form flat patties from the resulting mixture, adjusting their size to fit the ciabatta. Then place them on the grill. If you don't have a grill, you can fry them in a pan, but you will need to blot them well to remove excess oil. Also, keep in mind that the patties will shrink a little, so make them slightly larger than the buns.
Step 3
Slice the cucumber into thin rounds and prepare roasted peppers (optional). Layer the roasted pepper, patty, Greek yogurt sauce, and sliced cucumbers on the cut ciabatta. Top with the other half of the ciabatta. If you prefer toasted bread, you can hold the ciabatta on the grill for a bit.
