- Beef - 24.7 oz
- Bay leaf - 3 pieces
- Chopped Sage Leaves - 2 tablespoons
- Onion - 16.9 oz

- Campbell's Beef Broth - 5½ cups
- Parsnip - 1 piece
- Spiced Tomato Juice - 28.9 oz
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Fresh Mushrooms - 2.5 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the beef with bones and the finely chopped boneless meat. Season with salt and pepper and sauté until browned, stirring, for about 15 minutes.
Step 2
Add 1½ tablespoons of thyme and the bay leaves and stir for 1 minute.
Step 3
Add the chopped onion and celery and sauté, stirring, for 3 minutes.
Step 4
Then add the broth, tomatoes, diced carrot, parsnip, and mushrooms. Bring to a boil. Reduce the heat, cover, and simmer until the meat is tender, about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Step 5
Remove the bones and bay leaves. Season with salt and pepper and ladle the soup into bowls. Sprinkle with the remaining thyme and serve.
