Ingredients
- Beef tongue - 2 pieces
- Onion - 3 heads
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Dill - 1 bunch
- Garlic - 6 cloves
- Coriander essential oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1 tablespoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Thoroughly rinse the beef tongues.
Step 2
Peel the large onion.
Step 3
Peel 6–7 cloves of garlic.
Step 4
Rinse the whole bunch of dill under running water.
Step 5
Peel the large carrot.
Step 6
In a deep pot or cauldron, place 3 onions.
Step 7
Then lay the beef tongues on top.
Step 8
Add the carrot, garlic, and cover with dill.
Step 9
Sprinkle with salt.
Step 10
Add coriander seeds.
Step 11
Pour in water to completely cover all ingredients.
Step 12
Close tightly with a lid and boil for 1 hour until ready. Turn off the heat.

Remove the cooked tongue from the broth and cool it in cold water.

Use a knife to peel off the skin and remove any excess parts.

Return the peeled tongue to the broth, cover with a lid, and let it steep for 20 minutes. This will enhance the flavor and aroma of the tongue.
