Ingredients
- Navy Pollock - 2 lbs
- Onion - 3 pieces
- Butter - 2.8 oz
- Calibrated Flour - 0.7 oz
- Water - 8 fl oz
- Salt - to taste
- Vegetable Oil - 1 fl oz
- Parsley - 3.5 oz
- Herbs - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Wash and boil the potatoes in their skins.
Step 2
Using scissors, cut off the fins and tail of the pollock. Gut the fish, rinse, dry with a paper towel, and cut into pieces.
Step 3
Coat the pollock in flour with salt and fry in vegetable oil on both sides.
Step 4
Let the fish cool slightly, then separate the meat from the bones. Set the fish pieces aside for a moment.
Step 5
Finely chop the onion and sauté until golden in butter.
Step 6
Combine calibrated flour with water and salt, season with pepper, and mix until smooth.
Step 7
Place the fish on the sautéed onions and pour the flour mixture over it. Simmer on low heat until thickened.
Step 8
5 minutes before serving, add the boiled potatoes, sprinkled with herbs.
