- Navy Pollock - 2 lbs
- Onion - 3 pieces
- Butter - 2.8 oz
- Calibrated Flour - 0.7 oz
- Water - 8 fl oz
- Salt - to taste
- Vegetable Oil - 1 fl oz
- Parsley - 3.5 oz
- Wheat Flour - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Herbs - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
First, wash and boil the potatoes in their skins. Trim the fins and tail from the pollock using scissors. Gut the fish, rinse, and dry with a paper towel. Cut into pieces.
Step 2
Coat the pollock in flour mixed with salt and fry in vegetable oil on both sides.
Step 3
Then let the fish cool slightly and separate it from the bones. Set the fish pieces aside.
Step 4
Finely chop the onion and fry until golden in butter.
Step 5
Combine the calibrated flour with water and salt, season with pepper, and mix until smooth.
Step 6
Place the fish on the fried onions and pour the flour mixture over it. Simmer on low heat until thickened.
Step 7
5 minutes before serving, add the boiled potatoes and sprinkle with herbs.
