- Pork fat - 17.6 oz

Place the piece of lard in a pot, pour in the water, add the spices and onion skin.
Step 2
Simmer on low heat for 20 minutes. Leave it in the brine overnight. In the morning, remove the lard from the brine and store it in the refrigerator.
