Borscht with Buckwheat
Ingredients
- Campbell's Beef Broth - 12 fl oz
- Potato - 1 piece
- White Cabbage - 4.2 oz
- Scallions - 1 bunch
- Borscht Dressing - 6.3 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Wash the potato, peel it, and cut it into 1.5 cm cubes.
Step 2
Shred the cabbage. Rinse the buckwheat in cold water.
Step 3
Add the potato, cabbage, and buckwheat to the boiling mushroom broth.
Step 4
Stir and cook over medium heat for 15 minutes, or until the vegetables and buckwheat are soft.
Step 5
Wash and finely chop the green onion.
Step 6
Add the green onion and Campbell's Homestyle Classic Borscht Dressing to the pot with the soup. Once the broth comes to a boil again, remove the pot from the heat. The borscht will taste better if you let it steep for a while.
Step 7
Serve the borscht with sour cream.
