  • Tomatoes - 3 pieces
  • Onion - 1 piece
  • Vegetable Oil - to taste
  • Salt - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Slice the onion into thin quarter-rings. Sauté the onion in vegetable oil or a mixture of butter and vegetable oil until lightly golden.

Step 2

Meanwhile, chop the tomatoes and garlic scapes. Cut the scapes into 3-4 centimeter pieces. Add the tomatoes, reduce the heat under the skillet, and start braising the tomatoes with the onion. Add salt.

Step 3

When the tomatoes release their juice, add the garlic scapes to the skillet. When the scapes change color and become tender, turn off the heat.

Step 4
