Ingredients
- Vegetable Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Onion - 1 head
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Fresh Mushrooms - 8.8 oz
- Cider - 6 fl oz
- Corn Starch - 2 teaspoons
- Ketchup - 1 tablespoon
- Chopped Sage Leaves - 0.4 oz
- Natural Yogurt - 5 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat and sauté the finely chopped onion until soft, about 8–10 minutes.
Step 2
Add the minced garlic and thinly sliced mushrooms. Season with salt and pepper. Sauté for 4–5 minutes until soft.
Step 3
Add the cider, bring to a boil, reduce the heat, and cook for another 5 minutes until the liquid slightly evaporates.
Step 4
Mix the cornstarch with the ketchup. Remove the mushrooms from the heat and stir in the ketchup and yogurt. Mix well and place over low heat, stirring until the sauce thickens. Add the parsley and serve.
