Description
I took this recipe from an Italian website and tried it in our conditions. You can substitute the cream cheese with another type of cream cheese, and arugula with valerian. If you have no fresh herbs for the cheese mixture, you can use dried ones.
Ingredients
- Bresaola Ham - 15 pieces
- Semi-soft cream cheese - 7.1 oz
- Arugula - 1 bunch
- Parsley - to taste
- Fresh Mint - to taste
- Basil - to taste
- Meyer Lemon Juice - 1 tablespoon
- Grapeseed Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Chop the arugula. Add oil, salt, and squeeze a little lemon juice.
Step 2
Mix well and place on a plate. This will be the base for the rolls.
Step 3
Place the cheese in a bowl. Add chopped basil, mint, and parsley. Add a little salt and, if desired, freshly ground black pepper.
Step 4
Mix everything until creamy.
Step 5
Take a slice of bresaola, unfold it, place 1 teaspoon of the cheese mixture in the center, and roll it up. Place the finished roll on the plate with arugula.
Step 6
Repeat with all the remaining slices of bresaola.
Step 7
If desired, sprinkle the finished dish with pepper again.
Step 8
Refrigerate for 5 minutes.
